Sexual Assault Crisis Center
- Fox Cities
The
Sexual
Assault Crisis Center is dedicated to providing personalized
care for victims of sexual assault, their families, and others in our
community affected by sexual violence. Last year we provided crisis
support and services to over 400 children and adults who were survivors
of sexual assault. To assist us in carrying out our mission we have
need
of the following: A GIFT OF TIME: We are always in need of volunteers to help with our support groups, our on-call crisis helpline and our fund raising projects. We provide comprehensive training for all of our support group facilitators and volunteer victim advocates. A GIFT OF KINDNESS: We also have continual needs for clothing such as tee shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, socks and underwear to give to sexual assault survivors who have their clothing taken into evidence. Regular programming needs include gas cards for our volunteers, supplies for our support groups (cups, plates, utensils, paper products, snacks juice boxes and bottled water) and office supplies such as copy paper, post-it notes, facial tissue, pens and pencils are always needed too. |
